  • Amount and Price

  • Indication

    Relief of the following symptoms due to temporary insomnia:
    - difficulty sleeping
    - restless sleep

  • Dosage regimen

    In case of difficulty sleeping or restless sleep, take the following dose with water or warm water without chewing.
    Adults (15 years and over): 2 tablets once a day, before bedtime

  • Ingredients / Quantity

    Daily dose (2 tablets) contains
    Diphenhydramine hydrochloride ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ 50 mg
    Additives: cellulose, lactose hydrate, hydroxypropylcellulose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, titanium oxide, macrogol, carnauba wax and magnesium stearate.

  • Characteristic

    1. The mechanism of RIPOSMIN is different from that of ethical sleep aid (benzodiazepines). The effect of antihistamine (diphenhydramine), which causes drowsiness, is applied to the product.
    2. By relieving your temporary symptoms such as difficulty sleeping and restless sleep, the medicine can help you with good health.

  • Important reference information

    1. Do not take the medicine if:
    (1) you are pregnant or possibly pregnant,
    (2) you are under 15 years of age,
    (3) you have chronic difficulty sleeping, or
    (4) you have been diagnosed with insomnia
    2. Do not use any of the following medicines while taking this medicine.
    - other hypnotic sedative drugs
    - cold remedies
    - antipyretics and analgesics
    - antitussives and expectorants
    - oral medicines containing antihistamine such as medicines for rhinitis, motion sickness or allergy.
    3. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking this medicine.
    The medicine causes drowsiness, which may lead to an accident. In case where drowsiness lasts until the next day, do not drive or operate machinery until the symptom disappears in order to avoid accidents.
    4. Do not take this medicine while breastfeeding, or stop breastfeeding during medication.
    5. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
    6. Take this medicine only when you have difficulty to get into sleep or when you suffer from restless sleep. Do not take it continuously for a long period of time.
    7. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting medication if:
    - you are receiving medical treatment,
    - you are elderly (Drowsiness may be enhanced, or nervousness may occur.),
    - you or your family have allergic constitution,
    - you have experienced allergic reactions to any medicine before,
    - you have difficulty urinating, or
    - you have been diagnosed with glaucoma or prostatic hyperplasia.
    8. Discontinue the medication immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist showing the package insert if:
    (1) the following symptoms occur after taking the medicine:
    - skin rash, reddening, itching
    - stomachache, nausea, vomiting, poor appetite
    - dizziness, headache, heavy headed feeling when getting up, drowsiness during daytime, uncomfortable feeling, nervousness, temporary consciousness disorder (impaired attention, half asleep symptoms, impaired judgement, behavioral abnormality, etc.)
    - palpitation, lassitude, difficulty urinating
    (2) no improvement is seen after 2 to 3 times of medication.
    9. Dry mouth or diarrhea may occur. If any of these persist or worsen, discontinue the medication and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
    <Other precautions>
    The medicine may make you feel drowsy or tired until the following day.
