Indication
1. Constipation

Dosage regimen
Take the following dose with water or warm water without chewing.
Adults (15 years and over): 2 to 3 tablets once a day, before bedtime or on an empty stomach
Start medication with the minimum dose, and adjust the dosage according to your bowel movements. -
Ingredients / Quantity
Maximum daily dose (3 tablets) contains:
Picosulfate sodium hydrate ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ 7.5 mg
Additives: lactose hydrate, cellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, crospovidone, hypromellose, white soft sugar, talc, titanium oxide, acacia (gum arabic), povidone, carnauba wax, magnesium stearate and Food Red No.3 (coloring agent) -
Characteristic
1. This product is a mild laxative containing picosulfate sodium hydrate as active ingredient.
2. Picosulfate sodium hydrate is activated by intestinal bacteria in the colon and hardly degraded in the stomach and the small intestine. It increases intestinal peristalsis and promotes bowel movements by inhibiting water absorption from the intestine. Bowel movements will occur in 6 to 8 hours after taking the medicine.
3. This product is a non-habituating laxative with easy dose adjustment.
4. Recommended for:first-time laxative users, elderly people with weak digestion, those who prefer mild bowel movements.
5. Constipation is often caused by weakened intestinal peristalsis due to stress or fatigue. It is recommended to take the medicine together with vitamin B1 to promote bowel movements. -
Important reference information
1. Do not take any other laxatives (cathartics) while taking this medicine.
2. Do not take in large doses.
3. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting medication, if:
(1) you are under medical treatment,
(2) you are pregnant or possibly pregnant, or
(3) you are having any of the following symptoms:severe abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting
4. Discontinue the medication immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist in the following cases:
(1) Severe stomachache, nausea or vomiting after taking this medicine.
(2) No improvement is seen after taking this medicine for about one week
5. Diarrhea may occur. If it persists or worsens, discontinue the medication and consult your doctor or pharmacist. -
