Indication
Recurrent herpes labialis (limited to persons who have previous diagnosis/treatment by a physician)

Dosage regimen
Apply an appropriate dose onto the lesion 3 to 5 times daily.
Apply the drug immediately when you have strange feelings such as tingling and prickling sensations on the lips and surrounding areas.
Comply with the prescribed dosage and administration instructions.
Use for children should be supervised by a parent.
Attention should be paid so that the medicine will not come into contact with eyes. If the medicine comes into contact with eyes, immediately rinse them with water or lukewarm water. If the symptoms are severe, seek an ophthalmologist for medical treatment.
This is for external use only.
Although the drug is harmless when put in the mouth, try not to put them in the mouth or lick them. -

When not to use the product
(If you do not follow these instructions, the current symptoms may worsen or adverse reactions are more likely to occur.)
This product should not be used in the following persons:
Persons with seemingly first onset and persons with extensive affected site. (Symptoms may become severe in persons with first onset. If the affected site is extensive, the case is considered severe and requires medical treatment by a physician.)
Persons who have had an allergic symptom to the drug, drug ingredients, or valacyclovir agents. (Allergic symptoms may recur owing to the use of the drug.)
Infants younger than 6 years old (In infants, it is quite likely that the infection is the initial infection.)
Do not use in the following sites.
Eyes and around the eyes (Irritation may occur if it gets in the eyes.)
Sites other than the lips and skin around them. (Herpes labialis develops in the lips and skin around them.)
Consultation
The following persons should contact a physician or pharmacist for a consultation before using the drug:
Persons undergoing medical treatment from a physician. (The drug may affect the drugs prescribed by a physician or the persons may be using the same drug as this one.)
Pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant. (Take thorough precaution in using the drugs, and consult with a specialist doctor for instructions.)
Nursing women (Excretion in breast milk has been confirmed in the use of oral drugs with the same ingredients.)
Persons who have had an allergic symptom to drugs. (Persons who have had an allergic symptom to drugs may be allergic to the drug.)
Persons with severe moist and sores. (Severe symptoms require consultation with a specialist doctor for instructions.)
Persons with atopic dermatitis. (Symptoms may become severe, which requires consultation with a specialist doctor for instructions.)
If the following symptoms are observed after taking this drug, these may be adverse reactions, so immediately discontinue the use of this drug, and show this document to a physician or pharmacist for a consultation
Skin: rash/redness, swelling, itching, eruption, irritation, pain, dryness, burning sensation, exfoliation (skin exfoliation such as dandruff and scurf), and urticaria

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after using this medicine for about 5 days, stop taking this medicine, and show this document to a physician or pharmacist for a consultation.

Precautions for storage and handling
Avoid direct sunlight, and store the product in a cool place with an air tight closure on.
Store the product beyond the reach of children.
Wash your hands well before and after use.
Do not transfer the drug to other containers. (It may lead to misuse or quality deterioration)
Do not take the product past the expiration date.
Even before the expiration date, use up to within 6 months after it is opened (to assure quality). -
